Modernizing Penny Juice: A Fresh Take on Accessibility and Appeal
This project involved redesigning the website for Penny Juice, a U.S.-based company offering budget-friendly juice options in a rainbow of flavors. The primary goal was to enhance accessibility, create a modern look, and improve responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. By focusing on key pages such as Home, About, Products, and Contact, the redesign aimed to appeal to parents, teachers, and nutritionists seeking healthy, affordable juice options for children. Client requirements included maintaining the brand’s colorful identity, showcasing a wide product range, and making the user experience inviting and accessible.
A Refreshing Finish: Delivering Results with a Modern Touch the Balancing Act
To build a user-centered design, I started with brainstorming techniques like mind mapping, journey mapping, and user flow analysis, then moved to detailed sketches and mockups in Figma. This project involved iterative experimentation to balance the client’s needs and user goals, particularly around aesthetics, accessibility, and ease of navigation. With client feedback at each milestone, I refined the design to include a soft color palette, rounded corners, and user-friendly features like “Penny,” an AI bot assisting with navigation.
